This course introduces students to patient preparation, EKG machines, performing and mounting of 12 lead, single channel tracings. Review of the cardiovascular system and how it relates to electrocardiograph procedures. Emphasis will be on basic rythym identification and classification of heart disease. CPR and basic first aid procedures will be completed.
